The Happy/Sad Memories

Three shots from my trip a while back to Gatlinburg. The first is a bear I encountered on a trail. He was just ambling along going on and off the trail, paying us humans no mind. I got as close as I could and felt no danger. He was obviously used to the paprazi treatment he was getting The second is some of the beautiful fall leaves I saw down there and the 3rd a gorgeous, purple sunset. It was a fantastic trip with a former GF and her family in a rented cabin. I woke up before everyone else each morning and soaked in the hot tub on the deck watching the sunrise and hearing the wolves howl at its arrival. As much as I long to forget everything about that painful relationship, that is one memory I will happily carry forever.
