I Do My Little Turn on the Catwalk

Me at Lake Michigan.  One of my favorite spots.

As a challenge to myself at post #50, I give you...well, myself.  So many of you have brightened many of my days with your wonderful pictures of yourselves AND been such loyal, sweet followers. This is me stepping outside my comfort zone to say thanks.  They are nowhere near as lovely as those from the likes of my model friends, but you guys really inspire me to be bold enough to do it anyway.  So THANKS!!!

Cold chillin' in the Sanctum Sanctorum (aka, Nerd Hut)--Much love to Man-doo-rah down under.

Pick uh boo and...SEAHORSE!!!  Garfield Park Conservatory, Indianapolis.
Only you can prevent awkward photos.  Indiana State Fair last year.

My best blowfish impersonation.  The real one is on his side laughing at me.

Rock Star!!!  Hiking Hemlock Cliffs last fall.  Best trail ever.

Me visiting with Rupert from Survivor.  I actually saw him 3 times last summer at different county fairs.  I am at a county fair about every weekend in the summer.  And, yes, Rupert ran for governor of Indiana (and came up a bit short.)

And last we have my brand new Indiana Fever, Tamika Catchings jersey.  Will be wearing this to all 8 games I have tickets for already and anymore I can afford to add in later.

Thanks so much for everyone checking these out.  Not too long ago I would have only done this at gunpoint and maybe not even then.  I have the health insurance of a Tahitian prince after all.  When next we meet, I will resume the tale of my younger days in true random fashion.  You guys are so great!  Hugs all around!

  1. You, my friend are pinchably cute!I share your apprehension about the big reveal. It wont be happening any time soon as two of my clients have already asked about the blog. How did they find me? Is it fermones? Do I smell? Is it my little pink dog? What the hell?

    1. Aww, thanks so much. You so sweet. Still working on self image issues here. But steps like this can help. As for your aroma, I have always imagined it was a subtle blend of double-chocolate brownies and virgin mojitos. Is your little pink dog's name "what the hell" or am I reading that wrong :)

    2. No his name is skip. sometimes I call him the skipster, the skipenator, Mr. Bumbum, Mike, Mr. Why dont you have a job yet? but never WTH. How did you know about the smell...you described it so accurately although I suspect it leans a bit more heavily on the brownie end than subtlety would allow.

    4. turns out mine just stinks...I didnt even need to scratch it. I suspect skip "did" something to it. He likes to lick the screen...ick.

    5. Logic dictates your "ick" means you have sampled it as well. Truth be told, may have to try it myself. And, to paraphrase Iron Man, that's not the worst thing you've caught him licking.

    6. Not necessarily...a bit of a leap of faith on your part...hope you havent applied said appendage to the screen as yet...Ick refers to the spit drips on my screen. No I wont be taking any pages from his book of oral adventures any time soon.

    7. There are like 3 words in there that my Three's Company brain will not let me process in the same paragraph safely so I will just say...no, wait, not that either...ok, so...very glad you are not licking your computer screen. Pretty sure the manual would advise against it. The word ZAP comes to mind more than ICK.

  7. Heyyyy, I posted a comment and for some reason it hasn't shown up. What I said was "it's really about time you walked the catwalk, and in the future we should be seeing more photos of you". Great pics.
P.S. Hope this comment reaches you.
