The Soundness of Crescendo

A new sculpture outside the Indianapolis Art Center which I visited this week.  It is called "Crescendo."

It was covered in these little plastic, hand-made signs that different people had expressed thoughts upon.  Most were sweet like this.

Make mine a double then :)

Some were confronting truths that confounded them.

Some were very cute.  And I hope you can all say the same thing as this card.  You certainly qualify to me :)

I get those 2 plenty and I agree :)

Eternal truths were also present.

Bear spirit is happy to have you on board sir or madam.  Grr Grr Grr!!!

I like the softening quality of the heart at the end.

..keen too.

The one that stopped me dead.  Realized I spend a lot of time doing this for people and had never seen it put into words before.  There is a whole blog in this one tile.

Don't we all.

You may love the city but cats rule!!!  Cute picture as well.

How about "hate don't love" and "love don't hate"  I have an English degree so I can get away with it.  Its in the diploma.

C'est vrai.

Elaborate and clever.

Hope you enjoyed these as much as I did.  Could have spent much longer and taken many more shots but this gives you a good feel.  And if you're ever in town, you can make sure and check it out.  Wasn't even what I was going down there to see but what a fantastic surprise.

Back to my stories of my youth soon.  Had to interrupt as I felt like somebody might need to see these or, at the very least, get a smile or two from them.

Hope you are all doing wonderful, wishing you all the best.  Thanks so much for stopping by and for each of you that comment.  Every one just makes my day.  You are some lovely folks!

    1. They were not accepting any add-sies unfortunately. I would have to stay true to myself, we I given the chance to make one, and react with my first instinct. Mine would quite simply say "Down With Pants."

    1. I agree. Think they could have made a dozen of them. So much fun seeing how people respond to that sort of challenge. The variety of responses is so fun.
