These Are the Posters You're Looking For

The original title of the 3rd Star Wars film.  Star Wars fan club members got early copies of movie posters which is how I came by this one.

Welcome back, wonderful people.  Today we have a post for my fellow geeks in the crowd (holla, holla ma geeky peeps.)  It is my collection of Star Wars movie posters.  Most of you, as seen by the date in the picture above, are probably younger than these posters, but I think you may enjoy them anyway.  The force is strong with you :)

Somehow ended up with 3 of these.  Love me some "Empire"

This one hung on my bedroom door at home for years.

From a series done by a famous fantasy artist.  Made by Coca Cola.

That's a cold shot.
The Hoth battle was my favorite part of the movie.

This one came from a magazine. Please note the start of my name in stickers in the corners.

The back of the last poster.  I was a weekly reader.  Benji was so cute.

My favorite pieces in this wing of my Star Wars collection.  Posters done in 1977 for the original film and distributed by the fast food chain Burger Chef.

I collected the trading cards for the films as well.  Pictured here is one of the stickers that would come with the cards.

"Let the wookie win" and I let him be the big finish as well. Raaawwwwrrrr!

As indicated above, this is just 1 side of my collection so I will feature other pieces another time (such as those items I used to hold down the posters.)  Hope all you fellow Star Wars fans enjoyed a look back at some of the art that celebrated these great films.  Thanks so very much for visiting, be sweet to yourself and never be afraid to feel what you feel.

“You’re all clear, kid! Now let’s blow this thing and go home!”

    1. The world used to be a much smarter place. So sad how dumbed-down so much has become.

Yes, you win the prize of oldest follower. The prize? Well, the title is its own reward,

    1. That is because you are not a geek, dear. Probably all the better for you. Though geeks are kind of chic right now thanks to Big Bang Theory.
