Hopping Birthday (salto de cumpleaños)

Hello, wonderful ones, and welcome to All Things Bright and Lovely.  Today I will be sharing a bit about my birthday celebration from yesterday.  Thanks again to all those on Instagram who sent me such kind greetings on this occasion.  You guys really helped make my day extra special.

Hola, los maravillosos y Bienvenidos a todas las cosas brillantes y encantador. Hoy van a compartir un poco sobre mi fiesta de cumpleaños de ayer. Gracias otra vez a todos aquellos en Instagram que me envió estos saludos en esta ocasión. Chicos realmente ayudó a hacer de mi día muy especial.

This was my view when I awoke that morning; tucked deeply away from any city, far in the country, at the Rising Sun Resort and Riverboat Casino.  Although not a big gambler, this place has such a wonderful, peaceful energy I go back again and again.

Este fue mi punto de vista cuando desperté esa mañana; escondido profundamente alejado de cualquier ciudad, ahora en el país, en el Rising Sun Resort y Casino Riverboat. Aunque no es un gran jugador, este lugar tiene una energía tan maravilloso y tranquilo que voy a volver una y otra vez.

Playing the slot machines is quite fun, especially the ones that have cats on them like "Kitty Glitter."  I rarely win much but I just have fun being in the atmosphere of the place.  Just to the right of this picture is the fantastic buffet that I had for both dinner and breakfast the next day.  I was SO miserable I ate so much.  It was SO worth it :)

Jugando a las máquinas tragaperras es muy divertido, especialmente aquellas que tienen los gatos en ellos como 'Kitty Glitter'. Raramente gano mucho pero sólo he divertido estar en la atmósfera del lugar. Justo a la derecha de este cuadro es el fantástico buffet que tuve para cena y desayuno al día siguiente. Era tan miserable que comí mucho. Fue así que vale la pena :)

The resort was well-decorated with Christmas cheer, more proof I was in the right place.

El complejo fue decorado con alegría navideña, prueba más estaba en el lugar correcto.

And, yay for me, there were presents.  My ladyfriend knitted me this cool hat and a matching scarf.

Y, sí, hubo regalos. Mi ladyfriend me tejió este bonito sombrero y un pañuelo que empareja.

And bought me this cool, Christmas sweater.  My first one ever.

Y me compró este fresco, suéter de Navidad. El primero que alguna vez.

And this was the view from our table during breakfast.  After breakfast we headed east to the town of Madison, Indiana for some wonderful shopping.

Y ésta era la vista desde nuestra mesa durante el desayuno. Después del desayuno para que nos dirigimos unos maravillosos este a la ciudad de Madison, Indiana ir de compras.

Madison is a very old river town filled with beautiful architecture and a few dozen shops full of arts and crafts and antiques and just fantastic items.  I will save the shopping pictures until next time.  Some very amazing stuff though.

Madison es una ciudad de río muy antigua llenada de hermosa arquitectura y unas docena tiendas llenas de artesanía y antigüedades y artículos simplemente fantásticos. Salvaré a las imágenes comerciales hasta la próxima. Aunque algunas muy sorprendentes cosas.

After Madison, I led us to one of my favorite overlooks on the mighty Ohio River.  And then a bit more shopping, this time at an outlet mall, and then back home.

Después de Madison, nos guié a uno de mis favoritos con vistas sobre el río Ohio. Y luego un poco más compras, esta vez en un centro comercial outlet y luego volver a casa.

And the great topper to it all was actually a present I had bought ladyfriend for Christmas but it came early so I went ahead and let her open it; deep-dish pizzas shipped direct from her favorite restaurant in Chicago.  This was a gift enjoyed most wonderfully :)

Y el gran topper que todo era en realidad un regalo que había comprado ladyfriend para Navidad pero llegó temprano así que seguí adelante y dejarla abierta Pizza de masa gruesa enviado directamente desde su restaurante favorito en Chicago. Esto fue un regalo que disfrutó más maravillosamente :)
