On the Canal / En el Canal

Hello wonderful ones and welcome :)  So kind of you to visit!  Today I am showing the rest of my photos from my trip to the canal park downtown Indianapolis.  The canal was originally used to ferry in supplies to the heart of the city, like a moist railroad :)  The city made it a paved trail where one can rent little boats, bicycles and even Segways.  It is a wonderful urban hike full of cool sights.

Hola queridos maravillosos y bienvenidos :) De venir a visitarme!

Ducks and geese gather at the canal to drift and quack and goose about.

There are several museums along the canal, this is the Indiana Historical Society.

This is in the courtyard of the Eiteljorg museum of Native American art.

Este se encuentra en el patio del Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art museo de arte de los Indios Americanos

And these are outside the Indiana State Museum.

An old church passed along the way.

Una vieja iglesia pasó en el camino.

And this is the heart of our little city as seen from the trail.  So that is it for today's post.  For those interested, the quest continues with a few little victories and sad disappointment mixed in to keep it about the same as before :)  Thank you all for your encouraging, wonderful comments.  They bring me so much joy and strength too.  You guys rock!  And as a special thank you here is Boudreaux "Buddy" Sunshine in all his furry glory :x)  Hug yourselves for me, like you mean it :)
