Beautiful poem, with some thought provoking lines. Change is inevitable and we do need to change with times but in essence our souls should not. What is pure should remain so but what is not so nice should be changed. Don't you think so?

ReplyDeleteCircumstances change, people should not. Well this is a really contestable line. Often we see too many people changing for the worse when the circumstances go awry. Yet I do see people growing in character because of circumstances too.
Changing, even for the "better" must be done carefully. If it is you defining the "better" than that can be a growth of self. If you change to fit the "better" of others it can be poison to the self.
