Broken Home / Hogar Roto

My mother is an oblate spheroid
Weighing one thousand
Trillion
Metric tons
She goes by many names
Terra
Gaia
Earth

My siblings number billions
All one mother
All one house
A family
Different and divided
Destructive and divisive
We are all children
Of this broken home
Inheriting hatreds
Prejudices
Putrid, reckless, foolish
Ideas
Passed to us
As truth
Clung to in ignorant terror
Acted on with heartbreaking consequence
Cain and Abel
Replayed through a thousand generations.

Our mother
Forgives us
Forbears us
Forever believes is us
Her precious ones
That we will one day
Discover
Within us
The beauty of unity
The priceless power of peace
The lenient, lasting, lure
Of pure love
And our eyes
Through our hearts
Will gaze at one another
Shouting
Brother
Sister
Welcome home
Blessed family

Mi madre es un esferoide oblate
Pesado mil
El billón Toneladas métricas
Va por muchos nombres
Terra
Gaia
Tierra

Mi número de hermanos mil millones Toda una madre
Toda una casa
Una familia
Diferente y dividido
Destructivo y divisivo
Somos todos los niños
De este de casa roto
Heredamiento de odios
Prejuicios
Podrido, imprudente, tonto
Ideas
Pasado a nosotros
Como verdad
Agarrado en terror ignorante
Interpretado a con consecuencia angustiosa
Caín y Abel
Vuelto a jugar a través de mil generaciones.

Nuestra madre
Nos perdona
Se nos abstiene
Para siempre cree es nosotros
Su precioso
Que vayamos un día
Descubra
Dentro de nosotros
La belleza de unidad
El poder inestimable de paz
El clemente, duración, señuelo
De amor puro
Y nuestros ojos
A través de nuestros corazones
Mirará fijamente el uno en el otro
Gritos Hermano
Hermana
Sea bienvenido de casa
Familia bendita
