Pour Paris

Questions
Outnumber hope
Pile one on another
Dry logs on a sputtering fire
Yet no warmth
Or light
Is found
Lips bent to form a single word
Why
The crackling fire
Your sole reply
Knees to the ground
Screaming without a sound
Hands full of ashes
What once was love
And sweet compassion
Now all confusion
Reality a mere abstraction
Breathing still
Heart beating still
Thoughts frozen
A soul so chilled
How can we dare
To feel or care
When the end can come so fast
Who can once again
Let another in
When remembering the pain of the past
And yet we do
And yet we must
For we share a universal trust
That one day all will be alright
All the answers
Hidden from out sight
Exist
And explain
Why we suffer
Once and then again
All but to love
And trust that it
Will be enough
To balance all the times
When life has been so rough
Until then
You have my hand
My friend
Hold it tight
Share my power
And our burdens
Will be twice as light
And half as sour

Preguntas
superan en número a la esperanza
Pila uno sobre otro
Troncos secos en un incendio pulverización catódica
Sin embargo, ningún calor
o la luz
Es encontrado
Labios dobladas para formar una sola palabra
Por qué
El fuego crepitante
Su única respuesta
Las rodillas al suelo
Gritando sin hacer ruido
Manos llenas de cenizas
Lo que una vez fue el amor
Y dulce compasión
Ahora toda la confusión
La realidad una mera abstracción
La respiración todavía
Latidos del corazón todavía
Pensamientos congelados
Un alma tan fría
¿Cómo podemos atrevernos
Sentir o cuidado
Al final puede venir tan rápido
Quien una vez puede volver
Deja que otros en
Al recordar el dolor del pasado
Y sin embargo lo hacemos
Y sin embargo, tenemos que
Para compartimos un fideicomiso universales
Que un día todo estará bien
Todas las respuestas
Oculta a la vista fuera
Existir
y explicar
¿Por qué sufrimos
Una vez y luego otra vez
Todos menos al amor
Y confía en que
Será suficiente
Para equilibrar todos los tiempos
Cuando la vida ha sido tan áspera
Hasta entonces
Usted tiene mi mano
Mi amigo
Manténgalo apretado
Comparte mi poder
Y nuestras cargas
Será el doble de luz
Y la mitad de agria

Des questions
plus nombreux que l'espoir
Pile un sur l'autre
Bûches sèches sur un feu de pulvérisation
Pourtant, pas de chaleur
ou de la lumière
Est trouvé
Lèvres pliés pour former un seul mot
pourquoi
Le feu crépite
Votre seule réponse
Genoux au sol
Hurlant sans bruit
Les mains pleines de cendres
Ce qui était autrefois l'amour
Et la compassion douce
Maintenant toute confusion
Réalité une simple abstraction
Still Breathing
Le cœur battant encore
pensées gelés
Une âme si réfrigéré
Comment pouvons-nous oser
Pour se sentir ou de soins
Lorsque la fin peut venir si vite
Qui peut une fois de plus
Qu'un autre dans
Lorsque la douleur se souvenant du passé
Et pourtant, nous faisons
Et pourtant, nous devons
Pour nous partageons une confiance universelle
Qu'un jour tout sera bien
Toutes les réponses
Caché de la vue sur
Exister
et d'expliquer
Pourquoi nous souffrons
Une fois, puis à nouveau
Tous, sauf à l'amour
Et croyez qu'il
Sera suffisant
Pour équilibrer tous les temps
Quand la vie a été si rude
Jusque là
Vous avez ma main
Mon ami
Tenez serré
Partager ma puissance
Et nos fardeaux
Sera deux fois plus léger
Et la moitié aigre

  2. Bad things always happen to innocent people and those who start the wars for profit preach us about humanity...so ironic and so profoundly sad! At times like this one always feels powerless.

Your poem is a wonderful way to pay tribute to te victims...and make us understand the sorrow and the tradegy that happened in Paris...

  3. There was such a tragedy what happened in Paris and I really hope that everyone will pray not only for those poor people from Paris, but all over the world. As you already may know, I am living in Romania and almost 2-3 weekes ago a tragedy happened here, in Bucharest, where 55 students (age between 16-50) years died burned, because the room where a rock band was performing started burning because of some little cake-fireworks.. I am so sad to hear all those bad things and I am praying for Word”s Peace.

You, my friend, have a nice day! I really like your poetry and it is a pleasure for me to read them. Always :)
