The Art in our Stars / El Arte de Nuestras Estrellas

Greeting dear hearts and welcome!  Today I am sharing some pictures I took on a recent trip to the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  Above, you can see one of the outdoor exhibits.  Fans of John Green are already well aware this is a piece called Funky Bones, featured in the book and film of "The Fault in Our Stars."

Queridos corazones de saludo y bienvenida! Hoy voy a compartir algunas fotos que tomé en un viaje reciente al Museo de arte de Indianápolis. Anteriormente, puedes ver una de las exposiciones al aire libre. Los fanáticos de John Green ya están bien conscientes de que esto es una pieza llamada Funky huesos, aparece en el libro y la película de "La culpa de nuestras estrellas".

I actually climbed up on one of them to take this shot.  They are higher than you think :)  I adored the book so much it meant a great deal for me to visit here.  Such a wonderful story!

En realidad trepé sobre uno de ellos para tomar esta foto. Son más altos que crees :) Me encantó el libro tanto significó mucho para que mí visitar aquí. Una historia tan maravillosa!

Just a small walk away is this marvelous swing set, seemingly made of a giant tree.  As you can see, one can also climb upon it.  I had already gotten my climbing in for the day :)

Sólo un pequeño paseo se encuentra este maravilloso columpio, aparentemente hecha de un árbol gigante. Como puedes ver, uno también puede subir sobre ella. Ya había conseguido mi escalada en el día :)

There is a wonderful walking path around a big lake where there are many lovely flowers and an old mansion available for touring.  The furniture and decorations inside are amazing.

Hay un maravilloso sendero alrededor de un gran lago donde hay muchas flores encantadoras y una vieja mansión disponible para viajar. El mobiliario y la decoración interior es increíbles.

The gift shop at the museum is a treasure trove of great items, and a surprisingly solid collection of fashion books can be found here as well.

La tienda de regalos del Museo es un tesoro de grandes artículos, y una colección de libros de moda sorprendentemente sólida puede encontrarse aquí también.

This was the special exhibition at the museum.  It was filled with beautiful portraits paired with the stories behind them.  Many of the artists were Dutch, which is where my heritage goes back to, so I found that especially interesting.

Esto fue la exposición especial en el Museo. Estaba lleno de hermosos retratos apareados con las historias detrás de ellos. Muchos de los artistas eran holandeses, que es donde se vuelve mi herencia, así que encontré especialmente interesante.

It even had a program set up to digitally make yourself into a Neo-Impressionist portrait and then email it to yourself.  I was pretty happy with the result :)  Thank you so much for visiting and special big hugs to those who left me such nice comments on my last poem.  They make my days so much brighter and fill my heart with joy.  I appreciate and care for each of you so much!!!  Be well :)

Incluso tenía un programa configurado para digitalmente siéntete como en un retrato neoimpresionista y luego por correo electrónico a ti mismo. Estaba muy contento con el resultado :) Gracias mucho por visitar y especial grande abrazos a quienes me dejó tan buen comentario en mi último poema.
