The grand majesty of life
Merely flickers at the edges of my vision
Glimpsed in moments
Of the once impossible
Now attained
Of the bitter depths of sorrow
The lessons only learned in pain

My gift is not in the comprehension
Of every vast, eternal thing
My focus is much more refined
A tiny pocket of existence
Know as human kind

Your eyes have captured so much
Of your existence, your experience
Ghost
Reflections
Shadows
Of every important event
Linger
Singing songs that tell stories
In a language few can translate
And even fewer can hear
I hang on every word
Your secrets now painted on my heart
With the multitude of others

And those things
You feel so much shame about
The things you punish yourself for?
From my perspective
With all that I have seen
All I can say is
Why?
Why are these the things that most occupy your mind?
And then I see the deeper secrets
The ones you barely notice
If you are aware of them at all
But they scream to me
Begging to be heard
Be still and listen to them

"To Hell with them"
"You are not an addiction"
"You are not a situation"
"Your accomplisments are amazing"
"Your smile is so beautiful"
"Your impact on the world in incredible"
"Wake up and dance"
"Give yourself a real chance"
"You are not just worth it, you are not just enough, you are not even just more than enough.  You are galaxies worth of stars lighting the night sky. Act accordingly"
"Breathe deep, take one step at a time, do not count falls as failures"
"Relax, enjoy, be you, always"

El gran majestuosidad de la vida
Simplemente parpadea en los bordes de mi visión
Vislumbrado en los momentos
De la vez imposible
Ahora alcanzado
De las amargas profundidades de la tristeza

Pero gritan a mí
Rogando a ser oído
