The Legion of Bloom / La Legión de Bloom

These pictures I took at the Minnetrista Cultural Center gardens in Muncie, Indiana help to remind me of the uniqueness and beauty contained in each of us.

Estas fotos que tomé en los jardines Minnetrista Centro Cultural en Muncie, Indiana ayuda para mí recuerdan la singularidad y belleza contenida en cada uno de nosotros.

And that beauty is at its most powerful, most real, most visible when we embrace who we are, fully and without judgment, without fear.

Y que la belleza está en su más poderoso, más real, más visible cuando abrazamos lo que somos, plenamente y sin juicio, sin miedo.

It is something I have had to learn, living for so long surrounded by those who wanted their version of me.  Never allowed to even explore what my version might be.

Es algo que he tenido que aprender, vivir por tanto tiempo rodeado de aquellos que querían su versión de mí. Nunca permitió explorar aún cuál podría ser mi versión.

And now, slowly, I am putting that together.  The result?  Acceptance and appreciation of myself and who I am.

Y ahora, poco a poco, me estoy poniendo que juntos. ¿El resultado? La aceptación y el aprecio de mí mismo y de lo que soy.

And confusion at those in my life who allow fear to limit their ability to see it.  Going forward without them, hoping one day they catch up.

Y la confusión en los que están en mi vida que permita que el miedo para limitar su capacidad de verlo. De cara al futuro sin ellos, con la esperanza de que un día se ponen al día.

For it is certainly time to bloom.

Porque es sin duda el momento de florecer.

And many of those reading this have helped me realize this.  Some of you know how much you mean to me, more will hopefully come to realize it.  The comments I leave you, the words spoken and emailed, those are me being me, and you appreciating that never stops amazing me.  So thank you, deeply.

And because this post made me a bit teary ... you are all the beautiful flowers above, and I am happy Mr. Turtle, head in the clouds, waiting for rain he is eternally hopeful will come.
