From Indy to Windy / De Indy al viento

Welcome wonderful ones and than you for visiting.  Last time you saw some shots of my trip to the beach.  In today's post, we go a bit more urban with a look at some shots from around Chicago, Illinois, also known as The Windy City.  On this visit, I only drove through the downtown portion on the interstate, but I had quite a bit of fun in the suburbs :)


Bienvenidos los maravillosos y gracias por visitar. La última vez que vio algunas fotos de mi viaje a la playa. En el post de hoy, nos vamos un poco más urbanos con un vistazo a algunas tomas de Chicago, Illinois, también conocida como la ciudad del viento. En esta visita, sólo pasé a través de la porción centro la interestatal, pero tuve un poco de diversión en los suburbios :)

These three items are from the gift shop at the Rainforest Cafe.  It was my first time eating there and I found it very cute but also quite pricey.  The gift shop is free to visit :)


Estos tres elementos son de la tienda de regalos en el Rainforest Cafe. Era mi primera vez comer allí y me pareció muy lindo pero también bastante caro. La tienda de regalos es libre de visitar :)

The cafe dwells with Woodfield Mall, a giant palace of consumerism filled with all sorts of great fashion, such as the above items I found at Macy's.


La cafe mora con Woodfield Mall, un palacio gigante del consumismo llena de todo tipo de gran moda, tales como los elementos anteriores que encontré en la tienda Macy.

The main purpose for our trip was to attend a WNBA game, women's professional basketball, between the hometown Chicago Sky and the visiting Los Angeles Sparks.  I am very passionate about women's basketball and was so happy to get to see it played in a place new to me.  It was a very entertaining game!


El propósito principal de nuestro viaje era para asistir a un partido de la WNBA, el baloncesto profesional de la mujer, entre la ciudad natal de Chicago Sky y los que visitan Los Angeles Sparks. Soy un apasionado de baloncesto femenino y estaba tan feliz de llegar a ver que desempeñó en un lugar nuevo para mí. Fue un partido muy entretenido!

These sights were found across the border into my home state of Indiana.  The top is from an outlet mall (I spend much time at malls :D ) and the bottom from a sporting goods store, Bass Pro Shop.


Estos lugares se encuentran a través de la frontera en mi estado natal de Indiana. La parte superior es de un centro comercial (me paso mucho tiempo en centros comerciales: D) y el fondo de una tienda de artículos deportivos, Bass Pro Shop.

And speaking of Indiana, here it is :)  I live right in the middle, Indianapolis.  This was found at a rest area along the highway.  The green spots on the map indicate other rest areas around the state.


Y hablando de Indiana, aquí está :) Yo vivo justo en el medio, de Indianápolis. Este fue encontrado en un área de descanso a lo largo de la carretera. Las manchas verdes en el mapa indican otras áreas de descanso en todo el estado.
