Meh!

Meh!
A heart full of it
Numb to all
And all too numb.

Crushingly overwhelmed
Desperately underwhelmed
Caught in the paradox
Trapped in a hopeless box.

Feelings
Fighting through
Jolting my mind
Noisy thunder claps in the night
That wake my slumbering soul
Then whispers
Then sleep.

A ship
Tossed in waves
Then held in place
By waters too still
Sails torn
Fuel spilled.

I searched for the edge of the world
And found it
And I found it lacking
And meh.

Meh!
Un corazón lleno de
Adormecer a todos
Y todo demasiado adormecida.

Tremendamente abrumado
Desesperadamente underwhelmed
Atrapados en la paradoja
Atrapado en una caja sin esperanza.

Sentimientos
Lucha a través de
Traqueteo de mi mente
Aplausos ruidosos truenos en la noche
Despierta mi alma durmientes
Luego susurra
Luego de dormir.

Un barco
Tirado en las ondas
Entonces se mantiene en su lugar
Por las aguas también todavía
Velas rasgadas
Combustible derramado.

He buscado por el borde del mundo
Y me pareció
Y me pareció carecer
Y meh.

  11. I won't be commenting on the contents of this poem coz as you know, I would attempt to do a prac. crit. on it in my literature blood half a lifetime ago and you would tell me that it would be open for interpretation.

While I know the meaning of the word "meh", it is used differently in Singapore. We use "meh" as a Singlish article at the end of the question or statement expressing surprise or scepticism

    For eg,
So easy. You dunno how to do meh?
    You never study meh?
    Really meh?

Hehe... I just thought it is fun to introduce some SInglish to you.
