As I am quite sure many of my loyal, regular, sweet and fantastic readers are curious as to what my mysterious ladyfriend looks like, well, there you go. What? Not buying it? That looks like professional basketball rookie and phenom Layshia Clarendon from the Indiana Fever you say? OK, you got me. Was amazingly lucky enough to run into her at a art festival here in town today and she was generous enough to stop for a pic, which embarrassed my ladyfriend but I couldn't pass it up. Plus, she's a rookie. She's not jaded and bored with the attention yet. And, for any of you that believed I might be capable of dating a 22-year-old pro basketball player with a golden Mohawk...I totally love you!
Coincidentally enough, Saturday afternoon the LF and I attended a Fever game and got to see Layshia strut her stuff on the court. We lost but it was still such a blast to be there. Got to sit behind the bench which was very cool. That's us in the circle up there. I am taking a picture of myself taking a picture of myself taking a picture of myself...well, you get it.
And now for something completely different, a few pieces from the art fair we attended today.
Looks like a tasty pinball machine. |
Some lovely tribal art. This guy's stuff was incredible. |
Say hello to my superb owls. |
Toto looks like an eagle and the cowardly lion more a pussycat, but really cute nevertheless. |
