Art Warming / Arte calentamiento

Hello!  So happy you stopped by :)  Today we have photos from my trip to the Indianapolis Museum of Art (featured above).  Hope you enjoy!  The first shot is from the gift shop.

¡ Hola! Tan feliz que pasaste :) Hoy tenemos fotos de mi viaje a el Indianapolis Museum of Art (mostrada arriba). Esperamos que disfrute! El primer disparo es de la tienda de regalos.

I had to take a photo of this section as I know there may be a couple of you who like fashion just a little bit :)  They had such a nice selection of fashion items in the shop.  

Tuve que tomar una foto de esta sección, como sé que puede haber un par de ustedes que les gusta la moda sólo un poco :) Tenían tal una buena selección de artículos de moda en la tienda.

Next we move on to the galleries themselves.  While not a huge museum, this one does have some wonderful artifacts.  You may notice I am not so much a painting fan as a sculpture and statue fan.  Sorry painting fans!

A continuación pasamos a las galerías de sí mismos. Mientras que no es un gran museo, ésta tiene unos maravillosos artefactos. Usted puede notar que no soy tanto un fan de pintura como escultura y estatua de fan. Fans de pintura lo siento!

Much in the same way I love all of you so much, I so enjoy seeing art from every corner of the world.  African art especially fascinates me.  That vase in the first photo is just a little shorter than I am.

There was a stunning wing of the museum with art deco and post modern furniture.  Those are fancy terms I vaguely grasp.  My much clearer explanation is they look like something out of Austin Powers living room.  Yeah baby!!!

Mucho de la misma manera que amo a todos ustedes tanto, disfruto ver el arte de todos los rincones del mundo. Arte africano especialmente me fascina. Ese jarrón en la primera foto es sólo un poco más corto que soy.

Hubo un impresionante ala del Museo con estilo art deco y muebles post modernos. Esos son términos médicos que comprendo vagamente. Mi explicación mucho más clara es que parecen algo de Austin Powers living comedor. ¡¡¡Sí bebé!!!

That slinky chair at the end is super cool but would be a tad chilly in the winter season.  Needs a throw blanket :)

Here are my 2 favorites from the museum.

Esa silla furtiva al final es super cool pero sería un poco de frío en invierno. Necesita una manta del tiro :)

Aquí están mis 2 favoritos del Museo.

You can never go wrong with Tiffany glass windows.  This one was a full room size piece and just amazing.  The picture does not do it justice.

Usted nunca puede ir mal con vitrales Tiffany. Ésta era una pieza de tamaño completo y sorprendente. La foto no le hace a justicia.

And my absolute favorite was this modern work.  I have never seen a better representation of what my thoughts look like than this brilliant sculpture.  A big megaphone swallowed by a thousand random, uncontrolled thoughts.  It very much touched me to see it.

Speaking of me, here I am prior to entering the museum.  The was a stop for cupcakes involved :)

Y mi favorito era esta obra moderna. Nunca he visto una mejor representación de lo que parecen mis pensamientos que esta escultura brillante. Un gran megáfono tragado por 1 mil pensamientos al azar e incontrolable. Mucho verlo me conmovió.

Hablando de mí, aquí estoy antes de entrar en el Museo. El era una parada para cupcakes involucrados :)
