When plants arise
From winter sleepy
And bloom
And burst
Aglow
Do you still find
The magic there
As you watch them grow?
For when men arise
From death's embrace
We call it very creepy
Zombies
Ghouls
And vampires
We fear them all quite deeply.
But flowers
Trees
And Shrubs
Their return it should
Inspire
Not fear
But love
And awe of life
And perhaps
Wanton mad desire.
Mirror nature's resurrection
Take risks with fearless mirth
Grow to the light while the weather is right
Assured of sweet rebirth.
Cuando surgen las plantas
De sueño de invierno
Y de la floración
Y la explosión
Aglow
¿Encuentras todavía
La magia existe
¿Como ves crecer?
Para cuando surgen los hombres
Del abrazo de la muerte
Lo llamamos muy espeluznante
Zombies
Necrófagos
Y los vampiros
Les tememos muy profundamente.
Pero flores
Árboles
Y arbustos
Su regreso debería
Inspirar
No miedo
Pero amo
Y respeto de la vida
Y tal vez
Lascivo deseo loco.
La resurrección de la naturaleza del espejo
Correr riesgos con alegría sin miedo
Crecen a la luz si el tiempo es correcto
Asegura el renacimiento dulce.

Now that is a great poem!!!! I've never thought about it but yes, flowers but zombies, we fear (in films anyway. Not sure they are real, which is perhaps why we fear them. They are against our inbuilt sense of eternity and what death really is)
ReplyHappy Spring!
Thank you for yoru kind and consdierate comment. I appreciate each and every thing you said! And what does 'a big duh' mean? These Americanisms!!! They are confusing!? Duh here means, 'Isn't it obvious?' so are you saying, it's obvious we all care about you? And if so, yes, I do realise it and I am so so grateful for it! Still feeling blue about the situation but realising that I cannot dwell in the what ifs and the guilt and anger I feel for myself is not constructive- I must accept that I have to do what I can in the here and now and be what I should have been all these years! Without sounding too cryptic! Thank you for your friendship!
How cutie!
