Melted Buddy

Hello again kind-hearted friends and welcome back to "All Things Bright and Beautiful."  Very glad to have you here once again and howdy hi to anyone new stopping by.  Tonight's post is an extremely random selection of pictures which may give you a little insight into my going's on.  This is a scattered person like me's dream post.  Theme-less and picture-packed.  Above is Buddy, frequent star of my blog.  He is maudlin over losing the role of Tabby Stark.  Take heart, Buddy.  Ragdoll Downey Junior isn't getting any younger.
I heart art.

A beautiful, little purse made by the 8-year old daughter of one of my co-workers  (Amy Angel--One of the Five Amy's  Don't worry if that doesn't sound familiar.  We're not there yet.)  On display at the Indianapolis Art Center along with pieces by other young artists.

And now there is a 6th Amy.  Can't forget my sweet and faithful follower.  Hola Sweet Amy.

Her blog is wonderful.  If you enjoy beauty and great fashion you owe it to yourself to visit.  Just don't ask her any trivia questions about superhero movies and you'll be fine :)

And while we're on the subject...

Another fun blog full of gorgeous-ness and great looks is run by this lovely, non-named-Amy fashion wonder, Miss Linda.  She has been nice enough to check out my blog for some time now and I am always glad to see her comments.  And glad she finally got to see Iron Man 3.

Nuggle time with Miss Callie

Here is California all cuddled up with me in our nightly ritual.  She come up one side of the pillow, gets petted, comes up the other side of the pillow, more petted.  Needless to say, I have to give myself a fair amount of lead time for sleep.  Worth it!

La Mancha got nothin' on Northern Indiana

Some of the seemingly endless windmills that cut across the northern portion of Indiana.  Each of those blades is a big a commercial airplane wing.  They are very impressive and just the least bit menacing.  And when they start having mechanical problems, they are breaking windmills.
The "what the" grand finale

My favorite thing at an Oriental Buffet restaurant is to take hard boiled eggs, remove the yolk, and replace with red Jello.  I call in Captain in the Boat and it is quite tasty.  Bacon Bits optional.
So that's a little peek inside my mind for this week.  All this past looking made me long for the present for a change.  Hope you all enjoyed at least a few of these and thanks so much for stopping by.  You folks are the apian's patellas.

You are so sweet to include me so many times in your posts. Thank you once again. Love the photos, especially the cats.
Just to let you know, my boyfriend is an Iron Man fan and I have now seen 1 and 2, yay!!! Still not my kind of favourite movie I'm afraid but he also sits through non-favourite movies with me.
Thanks so much for your continuous visits and comments.

How did an Indiana cat get the name California? Don't dissapoint and say it was the calico. Make something up if you must. I do so love art and that purse is happening...Its stunning! I am sooooo not a fashion girl ...wish I was sorry. But the two blogs were nice. Sweet writing. I am more a levis and mud-kickers gal.Gotta stay on top of mud season. Maybe its the age? Nah. I am never amazed at how much I learn from this blog thing...I didnt know the windmills were plane propellers. I never went up the mountain to view ours more closely...Im gonna now though. Wassup with those eggs? Your favorites huh? Skip says "hi."

Nice to know your boyfriend has nice taste in movies as well and the company he keeps. Glad you gave those movies a try. That's all we nerds ask of our ladyfriends.

Really appreciate the kind words, Sweet Amy. You can bet you will be featured again. Thanks :)

Upon inheriting said puss from a former ladyfriend, her name was Callie, and I suppose it was due to her Calio-ivity but didn't wish to ask in case it was. Upon my adoption, her name was therefore changed to California "Callie" Pickles.

"Mud season" sounds like something I would enjoy...avoiding. Like "mushroom season" or "oozing rash season." This fella like to keep his hands nice and clean.

That's what makes blogging great, everybody doing their own thing and I have found so many people who are so good at what they do. Its a challenge to even try and keep up.

Try the egg thing. The savory, sweet taste mix is off the charts. And if Skip actually said "hi" I would like to sign up as his agent. Goatsie Poodle Chat.

And what an interesting mix of boiled egg and jello...haha, I'm intrigued...
Also..apian's patellas...I just googled that.
You smart person! Trying to make bee's knees complicated and scientific!

As a girl with only half of the digestive organs I was born with I don't see bacon jello eggs in my future. Let's talk more about your representation of skip. He says he's interested.

You deserve everything I said about you and much more, dear. Wonderful lady. I have a few odd dietary ideas like Captain in the Boat. Stay tuned :) And thanks so much for getting my "bees knees" bit.
