Memorial Play

He is very sweet little dog who liked me quite a bit (as all dogs, babies and grandmas do.)

Some pics from my day-trip holiday with the ladyfriend to her brother's lake house last Monday.

He belongs to my ladyfriend's stepfather.  A cute canine indeed.  Boomer, that is.

The porch and a bit of the deck.

It was pretty chilly and rainy that day but we still got a boat ride out of it.  Hopefully this video works so you can get a feel for it.  If you get wet watching this, not my fault.

(Name that tune for extra credit :D)

Old Glory waving in the sharp wind.

I am much more a cat person, to be sure, but every once in a while I find a woofer I really enjoy.  Like Boomer!

Rain-touched flower.

A grey but very fun day.  We will be going back up in warmer weather to boat again and make use of the jet skis as well.  So looking forward to that even though lake swimming gives me the willies.

I hope you all have had a wonderful week and are healthy, hugged excessively and told how wonderful you are regularly.  My assistance is available for at least 2 out of 3 of those if needed :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh...to think Skip had you so misjudged...Ive told his French soul to stop being so judgemental but does he listen to me? He still thinks the cat writes your blog. There is no talking to him some times!

I am so with ya on that lake and the willies thing.

My Aussie friend (see directly below) was under the impression Skip was your mate not your mutt. Ironically, you thought she was my mate. I think I hear Mr. Roper coming. Quick, Jack, hide in the kitchen.

It really is. Would so enjoy having a lake house and a nice boat. For now, when it rains a bit I get a nice size puddle in the cul de sac in front of me house and I use a Ramen Noodle cup for a seacraft.

I dont think I ever even lightly insinuated he was my mate...wise guy. Is that her down there? Dont worry Mrs Roper's got us covered.

I am waiting for Larry to come by and then we are going to the Regal Beagle. Not, by the way, the Pompous Poodle :)
