As regular readers of ATBAL know, the above feline is Buddy Sunshine. He is a mischievous, random, goofy sort of fellow, which is most likely why we get along so well.
A while back, you saw a series of photos from a confrontation between Buddy and his arch nemesis, The Purple String! We shant revisit the outcome of that epic battle so as not to hurt kitty pride, but instead I will share some shots of round 2; Buddy's shot at revenge.
Buddy, perched peacefully on his perch, blissful and serene. Until.....
His cat-senses start tingling. There is trouble afoot!
Buddy gets low and grabs some cover in anticipation of a ground assault. Sadly, his cover blocks his view of trouble.
But wait...what is that coming down the cat condo? The Purple String!!!!
Stunned only momentarily (OK, so it was couple minutes which sounds less heroic), Buddy takes measure of the situation.

The melee commences, Buddy does his best Matrix moves to avoid a wooly pummeling.
Watch out, Buddy! Reinforcements!
Buddy shows that mean old string who's the boss. (Sorry if these scenes are too graphic in nature.)

While Buddy did manage to repel the attack, he got locked up for contempt of cord.
