So for this post I am doing a real blogger-type thing and participating in an organized activity of gratitude. These are in no particular order and are not likely to be the 10 things I am MOST thankful for (which I attribute to my random thoughts) but certainly some important ones. Speaking of ones...
#1 My friend Peebs whose interesting takes on this format inspired me to try it out. She does all sorts of blogg-y things like this full of lots of great writing. She even made me that sign up there in honor of my web address. And that leads me to take a big...
#2 (and 3 and 4) The dogs of All Things Bright and Lovely. First we have Mr. Skip, sweet and often foggy poodle of the aforementioned Peebs. Next is Tedy, the cute canine of my first wonderful follower, Sweet Amy . And 3rd is the dearest doggie down under, donut fiend Bert. His mum can best be experienced here >> Siobhan Most all you get to see here is cats cats cats, but I do have a soft spot for dogs as well.
#5 My favorite sports team, the Indiana Fever. Opening their next playoff round Thursday night. You can bet I will be attached to the television for that one :)
#6 Stunning summer fashions such as the above. The first by the stylish Jenniya and that second, so-amazing shot comes to us from the wonderful fashion mind of Lidia And no fashion post is ever complete without a shot by the brilliant and lovely Sweet Amy
And thanks to all of you that have made the summer so fantastic with your genius and beauty. But now and by "but now" I mean finally...
#7 The tights are back in town! Yes, fall and cooler temperatures are starting to arrive. Sad news to some I know but wonderful news for me. Above are 2 early adopters to the autumnal style. First we have Lauren with another of her classic outfits paired with patterned tights. Next we have the artistic and gorgeous Paige Joanna with those shorts of a magic hue. Both such lovely welcomes to fall.
#8 This meal ^^^^ Nothing better than a trip to The Four Seasons (no, not that one) and a bowl of lemon chicken rice soup accompanied by a piece of banana cream pie. A taste sensation unparalleled.
#9 I am starting to get re-tweeted. My Twitter account is such a sad little thing. I have few followers which leaves me disinterested mostly to tweet. However, the above 2 examples (and a few other since) wherein the National Basketball Association and the Tulsa Shock of the women's version of such both saw fit to share my little words of fun with their followers was very encouraging.
#10 Llamas. Always llamas. Forever llamas. Viva los llamas.
I made it through. 10 things out of 10 billion trillion million I am thankful for. And, because I am corny but own it fully, indeed I am thankful for anyone who is reading this. You guys make such a positive impact on my life, I wish you could fully know. You are my eternal #11 on any list such as this. All my love, be good to yourself, never forget how amazing you are.

Tulis commentsIf you and Bert we're not existing in the same time, I would have to say he was a reincarnation of you. Although he probably doesn't have a tights fetish . Despite that personality oddity, I'm thankful for you as well! Peebs
Replydid the double hit again. Gotta work on that tremor

Nice post. Thanks so much for including Tedy and me. I must admit I'm happy that it's still warm enough here not to have to wear tights yet. I don't use twitter that much either, I have it linked to Instagram.
Replyxoxoxo
Namaste and bow wow to you as well, Peeber.
ReplyDon't come knockin' if this blogs a' rockin'
ReplyThanks SO much. Very awesome to have you stop by :) Your blog is wonderful too!
ReplyIsn't that dress so amazing and she wears it perfectly. You would know being quite the stunning model yourself. Thanks for visiting. I really am so happy to have you here.
ReplyI know you are a beach bunny and cling to the last golden rays of summer and, for that reason alone, I feel a little sad at its passing...but only a little :) Now if we could only get you interested in colorful tights :) Twitter is like a deserted island for me and I am Tom Hanks talking to a volleyball mostly. But still I try :)
ReplyHi dear
ReplyIt's nice be thankful sometimes, live is full of great things!
xoxo
A wonderful first TToT, and some adorable photos of man's - and woman's - best friends :)
ReplyMy Fred Barker says 'Hi' to those other furry people in the pics :)
Welcome to the TToT hop! I loved your list, and of course loved seeing Skip at the very beginning...he's a regular, as I'm sure you know. :)
ReplyAnd I LOVE the black and white dress...SO cute. Thanks for sharing! :)
Made friends with 2 llamas who tried to nudge each other to get attention. I am thankful for all animals too!
ReplyHey ...the comment about the Indiana Fever should have been my clue, but I just read that you are in Indy. I am in Greenwood! Small world! :)
ReplyThis reminds me I need to go shopping for tights this weekend as waiting as the bus stop was quite chilly this week. Welcome to the ten things!
ReplyWelcome to the hop =)
ReplyLlamas are cool =D
excellent dog!
ReplyWelcome to the TToT the coolest/weirdest bloghop on the virtual scene today. (My co-hosts take care of the cool....I'm in charge of weird).
One of the best things about the-blog-that-Lizzi-built is that it is a true 2 day affair...people come and go right up until midnight Sunday. This is a good thing, as I am limited in my time for most of today.
nice post

Llamas are awesome, especially those named Lilly (according to my Miss Lily) ;-) We are also total cat people, but some dogs can be so cute! Love the fashion shots, so cute outfits!! And hubby requests a banana cream pie.. Can't wait to be healthy again!
ReplyWelcome to the hop! I love the dog photos. Bert reminds me of my guide dog puppy, Drexel, who made my 10 Things of Thankful list again this week.
ReplyHope to see you again next week!

HEY, IT'S SKIP! And welcome to our TToT hop! Love tights in the fall and winter. AWESOME retweet! (I'm a rather pathetic Twitter-er myself). And I can't take my eyes off that pie. I love pie....
ReplyThis girl with the pink dress truly looks like an angel, oh you love dogs I do too, I had 3... Unfortunately I don't have one right now... that's so much love :)
ReplyI thought she looked like an angel too. Just wonderful photography. And I can tell you have alot of love in your heart. Such a sweet woman :)
ReplyI am very picky about pies, fruits are usually safe, any sort of nuts I say neigh. Thanks so much for stopping by!
ReplyI am excited to see you in tights weather too so that makes two of us :) You always look amazing in them. Thanks for the kind words, Senator :)
ReplyVery happy to find your blog. You have almost 6000 followers!!! Good heavens, way to go :) Thanks for visiting my teeny, tiny blog, dear :)
ReplyYou are very sweet. Thanks so much. If Drexel is wont to dig through discarded boxes of pastry when encountered they may be separated at birth :)
ReplyYou have a llama? SO lucky!!! I enjoy seeing them at fairs and was even able to go to a llama show once. A llama-palooza as it were. Thanks for coming by and good lucky on healthy :)
ReplyIt is a wonderful forum. Certainly the most traffic my little blog has ever seen. Will have to jump back in again. Thanks so much.
ReplyThank you so much and yes, darn tootin' :)
ReplyThank you very much. Kind of you. Spread the tights love to every corner of the earth :)
ReplyThey have such fun personalities and adorable faces. I am also a fan of the wild kingdom in most all its forms :)
ReplyThat is very cool indeed. Yes, I am an east-sider but have spent many years in Greenwood as well. Thanks for stopping by and your kind comments :) Skip is never regular :)
ReplyAnd they give a hearty woof back to Fred. Well, except for the llama, he seems indifferent :) Such sweet comments. I really appreciate them.
ReplyOh yes, I just picked ones with pics I could dig up for my first post. Will have to be more on the prosaic side with other items. Thanks so much for your kind comment.
ReplyThat is SO true. They are all around us all the time. We just have to look for them. So wonderful of you to stop by :)
