These Are the Posters You Are Looking For / Estos son los Carteles que Usted está Buscando

In honor of the upcoming new "Star Wars" film, I am sharing with you today my collection of posters from the previous movies.  The first three only, of course.  Do not fear the Jar Jar, he dwells not here :)  Above, you will see a different title than you have perhaps seen before.  The original name of the third film, changed late into production when someone realized a Jedi does not believe in revenge.  This treasure I received as part of the "Star Wars" fan club.  Try and control yourself ladies :)  Now let us see some more together!

I won this by getting the high score on Elevator Action at the arcade.  The only scoring I did back then :)  /  Gané esto consiguiendo la puntuación alta en Elevator Action en la arcada.

From a series done by a famous fantasy artist.  Made by Coca Cola.

This one came from a magazine. Please note the start of my name in stickers in the corners  /  Este vino de una revista.

The back of the last poster.  Benji was so cute  /  La parte posterior del último cartel. Benji era tan lindo

My favorite pieces in this wing of my Star Wars collection.  Posters done in 1977 for the original film and distributed by the fast food chain Burger Chef  /  Mis piezas favoritas en esta ala de mi colección de Star Wars.

I collected the trading cards for the films as well.  Pictured here is one of the stickers that came with the cards  /  Recogí las tarjetas de comercio para las películas también.

Hope all you fellow Star Wars fans enjoyed a look back at some of the art that celebrated these great films.  Thanks so very much for visiting, be sweet to yourself and never be afraid to feel what you feel.

“You’re all clear, kid! Now let’s blow this thing and go home!”

You have a great collection! I somehow knew there was something about 'Revenge of the Jedi'. My brother in law loves Star Wars so much that when they git narried, they went back down the aisle to a Star Wars theme 'The throne room' and went.under an arch of light sabres!

awesome posters. I do like those original ones from the seventies and it is fun to see the back of them. Join the fun and read a book...I think I read one of the books but I'm not sure which one and who wrote it but I think it was a part of the francese not fan fiction.

Anyway, I love Star Trek. I do think Lucas ripped off Dune big time, but we will forgive him because it really is a great series. It has been a while since I saw it last. That sticker that came with the trading cards is pretty cute.

Your sister must be very much in love. I am surprised you didn't have a Dr. Who wedding yourself. If I had a knowledge of the program I would make a witty statement here tying it into marriage. Thanks so much!

The movie of Dune was a real snoozer for me while Star Wars I have truly and honestly seen 87 times. So I am only sorry he ripped off crappier material for those last 3 :) Thanks for the encouragement!

there are new Dune movies btw:) I think I saw them before that orginal ones...but what really makes me adore the Dune series is the written word:)

btw I don't know why people dislike sponsored post. I think they can be quite informative. I don't do them often because I don't want to get bored of them and since they're poorly paid I prefer to write just a few a month...not that I think there is something wrong with writing them more often.

Sand worms give me the willies :) As for sponsored posts, I am just not sure. I have resisted any side ads or top ads all these years and it just feels weird to do ads. But maybe it is what the products are that give me the real pause. Me writing about wedding or prom dresses does not seem to make much sense. I have no real knowledge past "that looks really pretty" and "wow look how gorgeous that is." My ex-wife at our wedding wore a nice little suit thing and my prom date was attired pure 80's. Maybe if I mix those sorts of tidbits in I could make it my own enough to be proud of it.

well, all those sites probably can't tell the difference between a good written post and a bad one (if their English is any judge of it...) so the question is why some of us bother in the first place....you should do what you're comfortable with and if you don't like the idea of writing it in the first place that's another matter...

I'm sure you could write a kick ass post on any subject if you decided to it but the question is whether it is really worth your time considering how badly they are paid.
