Thought I owed you this picture from my prom night after the last story and my llama joke. I am on the left (yes, that's my real hair.) My friend Greg is beside me with his date Linda in the red and my date Amber in front of me. I forget how totally gorgeous she was that day until I look back at these shots. Beautiful, sweet, smelled amazing...my first idea what love might be. I can count on 1 hand days I was happier than this one and not need all the fingers. Oh to be so ignorant again, if just for a bit. To blindly, fully, fearlessly mistake a mirage for reality, hang the cost. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Not enough time to write part deux of my previous essay, but wanted to share these with you all. Hopefully they made you smile as much as you make me. Thanks for all the awesome comments. You guys are fantastic!

Its like you names are part of some sort of popular pattern..wish I could think of the word for one of those :)
the hair, the white tuxes with cumberbunds, the prom dresses, the 80's...
ReplyStill my favorite music. And your former governor was at my prom too running for president. Right after he got out of the tank.
ReplyAt your prom??? Huh??? Duke?
ReplyYeah, seemed like a heck of a guy. Poor Kitty was home getting juiced on rubbing alcohol but Mike was chasing his dream, Willie Horton style.
ReplyOh my goodness, I own that polka dotted dress! How crazy is that?
ReplyMay the force be with you.

Oh I hope you get it out and let us see it on you. With your skin tone and those eyes it would be perfect.
ReplyIt would be so lovely to hear from you. I promise to respond either here or on your blog.
