Replywhat a beautiful poem! I completely agree with you...to be strong we must also be fragile because we must not hide from the pain if we want to experience genuine joy. Happiness cannot be bought, it comes on its own....and we must keep our hearts open for it to find us.

ReplyThe conclusion of this beautiful poem puts me in mind of the title of one if my favourite books 'The right attitude to rain" in which our heroine philosophises for a moment over that very point. Ha, that very book title caused my husband and I (before we were dating) to sit together in the pouring rain in an orchard chatting! You made me smile and remember, thank you.
