In honor of the upcoming new "Star Wars" film, I am sharing with you today my collection of posters from the previous movies. The first three only, of course. Do not fear the Jar Jar, he dwells not here :) Above, you will see a different title than you have perhaps seen before. The original name of the third film, changed late into production when someone realized a Jedi does not believe in revenge. This treasure I received as part of the "Star Wars" fan club. Try and control yourself ladies :) Now let us see some more together!
This one came from a magazine. Please note the start of my name in stickers in the corners / Este vino de una revista. Por favor, tenga en cuenta el principio de mi nombre en pegatinas en las esquinas

Tulis commentsYou have a great collection! I somehow knew there was something about 'Revenge of the Jedi'. My brother in law loves Star Wars so much that when they git narried, they went back down the aisle to a Star Wars theme 'The throne room' and went.under an arch of light sabres!
ReplyCoooooolll!!!! Great collection! I had the 12 inch action figures back in my action figure collecting days, but not one poster! The first poster is awesome, keep that one especially safe :-D!!! Have a great weekend!
Replyawesome posters. I do like those original ones from the seventies and it is fun to see the back of them. Join the fun and read a book...I think I read one of the books but I'm not sure which one and who wrote it but I think it was a part of the francese not fan fiction.
ReplyAnyway, I love Star Trek. I do think Lucas ripped off Dune big time, but we will forgive him because it really is a great series. It has been a while since I saw it last. That sticker that came with the trading cards is pretty cute.
love star wars

Your sister must be very much in love. I am surprised you didn't have a Dr. Who wedding yourself. If I had a knowledge of the program I would make a witty statement here tying it into marriage. Thanks so much!
ReplyI have a few of that size figures and pretty much all the little ones. They were my best friends as a kid :) Thanks for the nice words :)
ReplyThe movie of Dune was a real snoozer for me while Star Wars I have truly and honestly seen 87 times. So I am only sorry he ripped off crappier material for those last 3 :) Thanks for the encouragement!
ReplyThat is a very cool bit of information! I had no idea. Happy Sunday dear!
ReplyThanks so much!
ReplyI love the posters,They have a perfect illustrations f what one would expect if you watch the film and reading about the collection I already know what to look for the next time I want to watch a movie. Its always great to read your posts Shamu Boo.Keep writing.
ReplyHi dear
ReplyGreat post!
I'm a big fan of Star wars saga, love those posters
xoxo
there are new Dune movies btw:) I think I saw them before that orginal ones...but what really makes me adore the Dune series is the written word:)
Replybtw I don't know why people dislike sponsored post. I think they can be quite informative. I don't do them often because I don't want to get bored of them and since they're poorly paid I prefer to write just a few a month...not that I think there is something wrong with writing them more often.
Son hermosos Rick, me encantaron
ReplyUn beso

Great collection, unfortunately I'm not a big fan of Star Wars hahaha. :) :)
ReplySand worms give me the willies :) As for sponsored posts, I am just not sure. I have resisted any side ads or top ads all these years and it just feels weird to do ads. But maybe it is what the products are that give me the real pause. Me writing about wedding or prom dresses does not seem to make much sense. I have no real knowledge past "that looks really pretty" and "wow look how gorgeous that is." My ex-wife at our wedding wore a nice little suit thing and my prom date was attired pure 80's. Maybe if I mix those sorts of tidbits in I could make it my own enough to be proud of it.
ReplyThank you so much, dear! You are very kind :)
ReplyYou are so nice! Thanks :)
ReplyYou would make a great Princess Leia, dear :) xoxo
ReplyThank you Maggie! Kisses
ReplyThey have some awesome fashion and I am pretty sure cullottes are involved :)
ReplyWow, what an impressive collection, dear! Your treasure, no doubt :)
Replywell, all those sites probably can't tell the difference between a good written post and a bad one (if their English is any judge of it...) so the question is why some of us bother in the first place....you should do what you're comfortable with and if you don't like the idea of writing it in the first place that's another matter...
ReplyI'm sure you could write a kick ass post on any subject if you decided to it but the question is whether it is really worth your time considering how badly they are paid.
thanks for translating the joke btw:) but I think I'll stick with jajajaja version:)
ReplyGreat post
