Leaster Eggs

The Jewel of the Nile Egg

Not to be seen as having a theme to my blog, but here we are with eggs once again.  Specifically my late Eater eggs, or Leaster Eggs.  The kits were only .18 cents and I hadn't done them for a few decades, but it is an activity I can recall enjoying from my youth.  And, even nearly fully grown, still a hoot.  If you have not done it for a while, give it a chance.  And then make yourself some cherry Jello for some tasty art consumption.

Thanks for stopping by.  And wonderful, giant, huge thanks for all the comments.  Every one of them truly makes my day.  You are some very creative, wonderful, lovely individuals and I am glad you're here.

I love coloring Easter eggs! As always your multiple talents astound me! Now your artistic prowess...is there no end to your ways with an egg? This is a very important tradition in our household. I must send you the photos,I have to say Sam Jackson did not show although he was invited. This year my kid and his wife came home for Easter (yes Im that old my kid is married)and the little socialist that he is managed to put a very good likeness of Stalin on an egg. I think Jupiter is my favorite. Love the spot. The ode to Kevin Costner looks a lot like our traditional lets- dump-it-into-everything egg. Thanks for the smiles, Fred.

Eggs Stalin is a favorite of mine at Bob Evans. Hey, the building is red, right? Thanks for the kind words, Peebs. Forgot to tell you the ascot arrived and, once I figure it out, I will be modeling it here. Really sweet of you to send it.

Bahaha, a Trendy Teal egg? You made my day xD I love it!
You know whats sad? My family and I never got into the tradition of dying eggs and Easter egg hunts. I mean, I suppose I joined in on those activities through elementary school, but it was never something we did in my household. Quite sad, since these would be so fun to do!

Wow, planet eggs! Super cool.
I've never heard of this before, only of the Greek Easter tradition version (which don't look like planets, unfortunately)

I hear it looks like a silk diaper. Can't wait...no really. My pleasure Fred. You deserved it for removing that miserable captcha...I do hope your other devotees appreciate the bribe.

Just for you, dear :) And its never too late to take up coloring eggs. You would have to make a few non-teal ones just to break it up tho :)

You and the fella should try coloring some eggs sometime. Might keep you out of the theater when the new "Thor" comes out :)
